Primordial Sound Meditation is derived from the yoga tradition of India. Yoga means union, – the union of environment, senses, body, mind. The yogic sage Patanjali explains that yoga is the progressive settling down of the mind into the field of pure silence, which is usually overshadowed by the activity of the mind.

Through meditation we are able to access the silent spaces between thoughts. Through these silent spaces we enter into the field of unbounded awareness. Regular practice of Primordial Sound Meditation helps establish inner quietness in your life, providing access to creativity and enabling you to make life-affirming choices.

In Primordial Sound Meditation, we use sound in the form of mantras to take us on our inward journey. The mantras used in Primordial Sound Meditation (PSM) have no specific meaning and are used only for their sound or vibrational quality.

I. Meditation Basics

MeditationYou will learn the basic principles of meditation, its history, the use of mantras and the value of meditation.

II. Personal Teaching

You will receive your personal mantra and learn how to use it. Afterwards, you will practice meditation for 30 minutes.

III. Meditation Practicalities

You will share your experience, and learn the practical aspects of meditation.

IV. Higher States of Consciousness

This final lecture discusses the higher states of consciousness that can be achieved with regular PSM practice.

How does Renee feel about Meditation?
