Yoga & Ayurveda for Seasonal Balance

A year-round practice for harmony of body, mind, and spirit

Taught by Renée Rivera, RN, BSN, PHN, Ayurvedic Practitioner, Vedic Master Teacher, and Certified Yoga Instructor

Ayurveda teaches that nature moves in seasonal rhythms — and so do we. This year-round class blends the ancient sister sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda to help students stay balanced, grounded, and nourished through each season of the year.

Each weekly session integrates:

Students learn how seasonal changes influence energy, digestion, mood, sleep, and overall well-being, and discover simple practices to support balance in everyday life. No prior yoga or Ayurveda experience is required.

The beginning of disease is when we forget our true nature as Spirit. Through yoga and Ayurveda, we remember who we truly are.

Yoga & Ayurveda for Seasonal Balance

Chitta Happens Ayurveda offers private and yoga classes in San Francisco. I tailor each lesson to address your specific needs, guided by the techniques and principles of the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga. Created by the Chopra Center for Wellness, the Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga is a program of asanas (poses), pranayama (breathing exercises), and mantras (sound therapy).

The program is designed to unlock your full creative potential, your capacity for love and compassion, and your ability to find success in all areas of your life. More than an exercise routine, yoga is a science of balanced living. Yoga restores balance to all doshas, and is an excellent tool for disease prevention. It is also extremely valuable in relieving many conditions such as: diabetes, digestive problems, heart ailments, arthritis, as well as emotional and mental imbalances.

What are The Seven Spiritual Laws of Yoga?

These seven easily understood principles teach that harmony, happiness and abundance are available to anyone willing to embrace a consciousness based approach to life.
